Flock Camera Map is an independent civic transparency project. We visualize publicly documented ALPR (automated license plate reader) camera locations so residents, journalists and local officials can see the real footprint of plate-reader surveillance in their communities.
All camera locations come from OpenStreetMap, the volunteer-built world map, filtered to man_made=surveillance + surveillance:type=ALPR. The dataset is synced nightly and republished under the Open Database License (ODbL).
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Flock Safety, Inc. or any law-enforcement agency. "Flock" is a trademark of its respective owner, used here only to identify the equipment being mapped.
